Yes it is! We only slightly warm the honey to aid in filtering out wax, proplis and other hive material but maintain all the natural beneficial enzymes honey is know for.
We would love to say yes, and we can say on our 160 acres it is as natural, wild and organic as its gets. But the unfortunate thing is you can fence in cattle but bees will be bees and can travel up to 5km foraging for nectar. While we ensure every step in our process is organic, we cannot guarantee that the bees haven’t encountered inorganic flowers on their expedition.
Unfortunately not. Our honey is available year round for pick up in Winnipeg and available seasonally at the Arnes Farmers Market located 14 minutes North of Gimli, Mb. It is available from time to time in Dryden, Ont. thanks to the help of Kyle’s Family.
Crystallization is a natural process honey goes through but will melt and mix just the same when used in your favorite warm beverage. If you prefer that golden honey drizzle then placing your container in a warm water bath, changing every so often and mixing honey as it melts to the consistency you prefer. Otherwise, we would suggest our creamed honey. It will provide the same flavour and smoothness of liquid honey but without the risk of the grittiness you may get with crystallized liquid honey.
